A new little club related project for the creative kids (and adults).
Within the current clubhouse, the grafters have been making a huge difference by personalising some of the changing rooms with lots of pictures and certificates. They look magnificent😍.
Next stage would be to capture what it means to our members throughout ALL the age groups.
This project is called A-Z of Portico Vine.
We are asking players and parents to put what it means to them in their own words using each letter of the alaphabet. An example is
All together we are Portico Vine,
Believing that anything is possible.
Collectively we are a big family,
Doing everything we can do for our kids.
Every child deserves a chance to shine,
Forever embraced by the army of;
Green and Gold family supporters.
Harnessing talent raw and new,
Inspiring, encouraging and supporting.
Joining families and communities as we go
Kicking down barriers of yesteryear.
Looking out for each other young and old,
More of ‘us’ and ‘we’ and not ‘I’ nor ‘me’.
New members are welcomed to the club,
Old timers will welcome you into the family.
Portico Vine are on a journey to the Moon,
Quick jump aboard the rocket ship!
Remember the Theatre of Dreams is at;
Scholes Lane playing fields in WA10.
There you will find our hero’s and heriones
United through the sport of rugby league.
Victory can take place on and off the park
When OneTeam strives for that OneDream
Xciting times lie ahead in 2021
