Another Club First 💚💛
Evening all - a new concept and another club first I am delighted to launch and share.
Once every two months, I will be presenting key volunteers with a club Commendation. This is a special award to recognise the outstanding work being undertaken behind the scenes.
The first five awards go to....
Billy Vaughan and Ian Skerry
Citation - For meticulous planning, leadership, organisation and execution of the Volunteer It Yourself project which has completely transformed the clubhouse.
April McBride
Citation - For dedication, professionalism and ownership of all things Covid-19 as the single point of contact between the club and RFL/NWC.
Paul Collingwood
Citation - For creative and innovative fundraising ideas during Covid-19 restrictions, particularly with the Portico Vine club lotto game.
Sean Furlong
Citation - For single handily keeping the club afloat by leading on the Covid-19 mitigation policies, particularly during the first lockdown.
The Commendation awards will become a regular feature and will be surmised at each presentation evening. A display of past winners will be inserted into the cabinets within the clubhouse.
