Pease see below details of an awareness campaign being run by Cumbria. Although its being run by Cumbria anyone is able to register for the session and child exploitation is happening everywhere. Please feel free to register yourself and share with your coaches, volunteers and parents.
#ITSNOTOK is a Child Exploitation awareness raising campaign being run by Cumbria Safeguarding Children’s Partnership in partnership with the NSPCC.

County Lines – which is a form of child exploitation and abuse is happening on our doorstep!!
Exploitation can happen to anyone no matter of gender, ethnicity or sexuality
If you are a parent or carer with a child in sport and physical activity, then this workshop is for you. This workshop has been designed to provide information to support parents and carers, to raise awareness of the issues, to help you spot the signs and know how to get help.
The workshop will
• raise awareness of this crime and how to spot the signs
• help children identify when it is happening, and then know how to get help
• provide information to support parents and carers
• support professionals and volunteers to spot the signs and report it
Tackling Child Exploitation is everyone’s responsibility.
